Every session opens with a real conversation. Role models, masculinity, image, relationships, mental health, life online, gang culture. Young people work out what they think before anyone asks them to write a word.
That conversation becomes lyrics — a verse, a hook, a spoken word piece. The material is honest because the thinking came first.
Then they record it properly. Two staff, full studio kit, mixed and mastered. They leave with something they'd actually play to someone.

Plenty of organisations will run a music workshop in your school. The music isn't the intervention — the conversation is. The recording is the reason young people keep turning up. That sequence is why it works with the ones who have opted out of everything else.
